As the Executive Director & CEO of a provincial non-profit organization, I help build the economy by promoting skilled trades & technology careers to youth through Olympic-style competitions, in-school programs, young women in trades conferences and online challenges.
With several decades experience working in the technology & business space, I thrive in environments where innovation is fostered in the workplace.
Throughout my career I’ve advocated for vulnerable women and at-risk youth. I’ve seen first-hand how Vancouver’s lack of resources for addicted and marginalized populations has contributed to its burgeoning overdose, housing, and crime stats.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Carleton University and then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kaplan University (now known as Perdue Global).
In 2021 I was the recipient of the Parliamentary Distinguished Service Award.
My love of politics and business is reflected in my blog posts.
